Santiago, the capital of Chile, is the political, cultural, and economic centre of the country and one of the largest metropolitan areas in South America. Located between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific coast, the city offers a unique combination of cultural heritage, urban life, and access to some of Chile’s most remarkable landscapes.

CAA2027 will be hosted by the University of Chile, the country’s oldest public university and one of Latin America’s leading institutions for research and higher education.

Santiago is served by Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, with direct connections to major cities across the Americas and Europe. The city has an extensive public transportation network, including metro and bus services, making travel within the city straightforward for conference participants.

As one of South America’s principal cultural destinations, Santiago offers a wide range of accommodation, restaurants, museums, and cultural activities.
