Public Transportation
Santiago has an extensive and integrated public transportation system connecting the airport, the city centre and the conference venue. Public transport includes the Santiago Metro and the Metropolitan Mobility Network (RED), which integrates buses and metro services through a unified payment system.
Bip! Card
Public transportation is paid using the Bip! card, which can be purchased and recharged at metro stations, authorised points throughout the city, or through official mobile applications.
In addition, Santiago has recently incorporated contactless payment options on the Metro system, allowing passengers to pay directly using compatible credit cards, debit cards and mobile wallets.
Fares generally range between CLP 750 and CLP 900 depending on the time of day and type of service. The system allows integrated transfers between metro and buses within a limited time period.

Santiago Metro
The Santiago Metro is one of the largest and most efficient metro systems in Latin America and currently operates seven lines across the city. The system is generally safe, reliable and well connected to major accommodation areas commonly used by conference participants.

During weekdays, trains operate at high frequency, although stations can become crowded during peak hours (07:00–09:00 and 18:00–20:00).
Additional information, maps and trip planning tools are available on the official Metro website.

Santiago is served by Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL), located approximately 25–35 minutes from the conference venue depending on traffic conditions.
Participants may travel from the airport to the city using:
- Official airport buses

These services generally allow payment by credit card or cash.
