The Call for Sessions for CAA2027 is now closed.
The submission period closed on 7 August 2026, following an extension of the original deadline.
The CAA2027 Organising Committee would like to thank everyone who submitted a session proposal for the 54th Annual Conference of Computer Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology (CAA2027).
Submitted session proposals will now proceed to the review process. Session organisers will be contacted regarding the outcome of their proposals in due course.
Call for Papers
The Call for Papers will open on 24 August 2026 and will remain open until 1 October 2026.
Further information and submission guidelines will be available on the CAA2027 website when the Call for Papers opens.
Session Submission Information
For reference, session proposals were required to include:
- Session title
- Session format
- Names and affiliations of all session organisers
- Contact details for the lead organiser
- Session abstract (between 300 and 1,000 words, excluding references)
- Keywords
- A brief statement describing the relevance of the session to the CAA community
Each session was required to have at least two organisers and a maximum of four organisers.
